All Feeling As One

There is a time coming now when universal thoughts and feelings will move toward a desire to encompass all beings on the planet.

This motion will go beyond talk, polite talk as you understand. It will become almost a predominant feeling and almost predominant in conversations even between acquaintances to say nothing of friends and family.

I am not placing a burden upon you here. I just felt that you might be interested to know that this inner drive towards unification has to do with spirituality and not politics. Politics are a way of understanding complex lifestyles but they do not directly correlate to our soul and spiritual desires.

From what I've been taught and what I've been able to absorb by my study and participation in life I can assure you that this is something that Creator has intended for us at this time. We will be able to see, to really notice you understand, the similarities in other people and even in beings that we do not consider to be people - animals, plants, trees, etc. - with ourselves.

This may sound a bit bizarre to some of you but others of you, especially those who have a favorite tree or plant or live with pets or other animals, know that this has truth within it.

I wanted to reassure you at this time that this is not some outside influence attempting to manipulate us. This is truly something associated with our spiritual pathways and I believe has been provided for us at this time when we seem to need it the most by Creator, by Creation and perhaps with the agreement of all beings everywhere.

Understanding Mother Earth: Fire

There is a way Mother Earth creates renewal and I think we all know what that is. It is not a pleasant thing in most cases but it is used in ways that do incorporate a form of cleansing.

It is known, at least in the past, that when doctors and other health practitioners need to use instruments to safely work on their patients that they use heat in order to clean their instruments and there are other professions that use heat in order to say - work metal so that it can be made into forms that serve us in some way - and yet what about Mother Earth.

She gives this example of heat by creating fire through lightning or volcanism and other methods. For instance there might be a reflection off of something - a piece of glass, a piece of metal - some dry brush and poof. In other words all fires are not caused by human carelessness. No, a great many of them are caused by natural means.

Mother Earth does not have a resentment against life on her body - plants, animals, people but she does require that she uses her actual elements to keep her body refreshed.

I am not saying that fire is good in all cases for it causes a great deal of suffering to us all and that cannot be avoided and yet we are fascinated by it are we not. We are so fascinated that it is not unusual for people to build a fire in a fireplace even in the warm months simply because of the pleasure we get looking at a log burn, even a manufactured log and the way the flames go.

There is a certain mystical attraction to the flame and I will say a little more about that just now. Fire, you see, burns on its own accord. It goes where it is attracted to, not unlike water, and it moves in a way that recreates form.

We consider at the deep level of our own being that the recreation of form must have something to do with Creator. After all, Creator sparks life on our planet with that soul that is in each and every one of us - plants, animals, humans - yes and therefore when we see an element that is of Mother Earth recreating form it strikes a familiar chord within us and as long as it is recreating that form in a way that feels safe to us we feel as if we are observing something almost holy in action.

And yet, even though some religions identify fire as a element of change wrought by Creator there are others that consider fire to be - yes that element but also to be considered something holy and sacred. Hence candles in churches, temples and other places of worship.

It is a ongoing conundrum however why we consider that the use of fire as a punishment or as a way of enforcing our will on others is also used. My feeling is that fire is meant to be honored as a natural means of renewal that is a part of Mother Earth's personality and considering the damage that it can do as well as its beauty and its capacity for renewal my feeling is that it is best to allow it to be yes - adjudicated if you like - to be provided by those beings who feel the most confident in expressing it as part of their personalities.

Creator yes, Mother Earth yes but not so much something that we who feel we have the capacity to control it but often it leaps out of our control - perhaps its not something that we can yet express as part of our own personalities.

Given that, it has an eternal quality and in my experience the eternal is best left to beings who are eternal.

I am not saying - don't use fire. I am saying use it with respect, use it with caution and recognize that it is all about the change of life we all go through, the cycles of life we all go through and the nature of the re-formation of matter by eternal spirit. Respect yes, honor yes and keep our distance with that respect. Fire - a element of nature.

Take A Chance?

It is time now to experience life as we have known it before in its more balanced state. Our souls are restless - how many times have we heard that but why are they restless?

Do we miss that perfect world of Creator - of course we do but is it something else? Mightn't it be - perhaps. Maybe Creator has something planed for us - not in store for us but planed for us that's different.

Maybe it's time for us to begin acting as the Creator's apprentices that I believe we are here to be. In some ways one might be able to make a point if one desired, that we have been doing that. Many times doing beautiful things but also at other times spiraling down through one mistake after another to discover consequences. All Creators, I believe, must know and understand consequences.

I'm not trying to suggest that we are some kind of creator of terrible things but I believe we are, when I look at it at a distance - not necessarily as a participant though that I am but when I step back and look at it at a distance - we do seem to be students.

Students often make mistakes and then teachers, if they are kind and available, correct us. Sometimes gently, lifting us from one path of error to a path that will lead to something more balanced but what if we don't listen? What if we refuse and steadfastly stick to our path of error?

Then sometimes the teacher gives us a bit of a nudge or maybe even a gentle kick and of course it can continue from there. A student here - us all yes - we find ourselves very often getting nudged, poked and prodded. I wonder - is the teacher Creator? Is the teacher our guides or is the teacher that restless part of our souls looking for the next step for us?

Maybe as a apprentice we are allowed to take a chance and try a pathway that might be more benevolent even though it might feel like a risk. I wonder - is it just a foolish thing?

Can we sometimes respond gently to that rib or that jibe that we receive from others? Can we laugh with them? Sometimes it goes away when we do and other times it sticks. It's hard to say isn't it. So many different pathways. Do they all lead to the same place.

Maybe that place is expanding. Maybe the place is getting better and maybe in order to get to that place we're going to have to do something different.

Maybe we're going to have to try to take the risk and be more benevolent or is it that we need to take the risk - yes - take a chance and be as benevolent as possible. Maybe that's good enough, given the world situation, for now. We can always try it and see if we seem to be getting a poke or a prod from one of our teachers or our guides or - could it be Creator.

If so then perhaps we need to try something else. I feel, though it is a strain for me as well - sometimes even a struggle, being more benevolent can be a demanding teacher but what are the rewards. Perhaps there are rewards.

I know when I have experienced benevolence it has been rewarding for me and many times when I have done something benevolent and others feel good I also feel good.

Risks, rewards, chances - a world, a school, a place. We continue on eh. Perhaps it's worth the risk.
