My Students

Of those I work with personally - in particular that I gently refer to as students - must love, honor and appreciate all beings to the best of their ability and must have a desire to help all beings benevolently to the best of their ability as well.

They must accept the fact that this work that I'm teaching will sometimes involve a loss of their personal time for themselves and/or inconvenience their lives. Also the students curiosities must be fulfilled to an extent even though they will be guided over time to fend for themselves and seek other ways and other means of learning - including interacting with life and discovering what, of those things I teach, applies specifically to where their talents lie and also to discover what it is that they want to include in the work that may come from others or from their experience of life itself.

You will, essentially, as a dedicated shaman be on call quite a bit of the time - so there is that.

You may wonder why I'm referring to your students and that's because I expect you, when the time is right, to be passing on the teachings that I have shared as well as the wisdom you have garnered throughout life to your students and I'm considering that to be part of the work.

While I do not expect you to give up every shred of your time to devote to studying this work - after all many of you have other jobs and employment, families and so on - still I feel that it will take as long as it takes for you to learn these things in the best and most benevolent way for you so that you can do fine work that you will feel good about using the high standards I apply to myself to achieve these ends.

A question has come up. People ask me what I charge for this teaching. Here is my answer. I accept contributions. Sometimes this may simply be of your time or efforts or perhaps some other that you are able to freely offer.

Telepathy

Telepathy can be learned. Feeling and speaking with love that you can feel and speaking sincerely from that love you can begin.

Begin first with animals from the tiniest to the biggest it makes no difference. When you form your kinships with them perhaps they will teach you more.

Easing Into Greater Balance

I want to say a little more about the situation of human encroachment. There are many of us here on Earth and we all need to live places - I know that, I live near the water myself.

We must recognize that our world has held together as long as it has because of balance. Not only our own balance which we must demonstrate on a daily basis being both spiritual and mental - and then of course there are also our feelings self and our physical self as well as being inspired and instinctual yes - but because of all other forms of life here.

I know some of you are musically inclined and you know what it sounds like when there are instruments missing from a band or singers missing. It doesn't sound right. Sometimes the feeling is downright uncomfortable.

That's what's going on here now and there gets to be a point doesn't there when someone playing the triangle, beautiful though it may be, is not enough to carry the tune for the whole orchestra. We are that triangle.

We have beauty in our human culture, we have joy, we have much happiness but we also have tragedy. We have troubles and we have challenges and much more.

What helps us to continue to exist here. Yes Creator, yes spirit - no question about that. Our own resources, what we can do and invent, all of that and yet - it is ultimately balance. And that balance has to do with all other life forms including animal, mineral and vegetable. These life forms are essential to the balance of Earth.

This Earth was created not only for us and regardless what it says in books of value and philosophies that I respect - I believe and I have been taught that this Earth was created equally for us all - not for only one species.

I believe we are here to learn that not because we haven't understood it in previous lives, not because our spirits in their total being don't understand it, not because this is some kind of nursery school for people who are slow to evolve but rather because we may someday have a gift given to us and that is the gift of the great teaching.

Those of you who are teachers out there - you have had those magical moments when your students get it or even individual students get something and you see the magical expression in their face. They understand it and their whole life changes as a result.

Someday, I believe, we will be presented with that in order to be able to teach and experience the joy of the teacher working with students. In order to do that we will need to know just exactly what to do, how to do it. We will need to have patience which we are all here to learn. We will need to be able to know when to correct, know when to praise and to know when to be kind which is vitally important.

I am hopeful we will all get there and in order to get there we also have to learn how to be good students. One of the things I've been able to learn in this life is lessons from animals, lessons from plants, lessons from stone as well as the lessons I've received from spirit and of course human beings. In my experience this form of balance is so vitally important.

So - lets allow the sea beings to have their home in the water, lets allow the plant beings to have their home in the soil in the land. Lets allow the air beings to have their flights in the sky. Lets allow the earth beings to live underground and lets live in balance with them all.

Goodlife to you all and goodnight.

Continuing Illumination On Instinct

I have spoken a great deal on instinct and you will find some of that teaching here, then here, followed by this and then this and also this.

I am concerned however that there still may be a misconception about instinct. The assumption is that it has a quality of mystery to it but in fact there is no great mystery.

Instinct is about touch - your body touching the surroundings. Now I grant that you may not consider the atmosphere or the air in front of you something that you touch although in theory you can understand where it might be considered touching as you move through the air around you but there is more there than air.

There is also feelings - meaning that which is contacting your feelings as well as the radiated feelings of all other beings and by all other beings I do not mean only human beings - I also mean plants, animals and Mother Earth herself to say nothing of the broadcast energy of Creator, Angels and so on.

Instinct is not mysterious at all. It is our reaction to those feelings. Do you know, you don't have to try to figure it out. It's not meant to be figured out, it's just meant to be felt.

At this time of year many of us are experiencing winter where we have to have lots of clothes bundled on us but it's coming on towards spring isn't it and it will be possible to, at the very least, remove gloves.

Now, I want you to try something when you are able to have your hands exposed to the outdoors. If you are not sure what instinct feels like then you can try this - and you can even do it indoors if you want to.

Use the back of your hand - that is the best way to start with this and reach towards a given area - meaning for example - test it - yah?

Try reaching towards a room or a space that you know is not a good place for you to go into. There may be a reason. By the way you don't have to open the door for instance if it is a closed room, just stand outside well away from it and reach your hand towards that door.

There might be any number of good reasons why it's not good for you to go in there but the test that you're doing here is not to see what's behind the door but rather to see how your body reacts as you reach towards it with the back of your left hand.

Take note what feelings you have in your physical body. Then go to another room, since I am applying this to indoors, and if that room is perfectly safe to enter and you know that it is then reach towards that with the back of your hand again standing well away from the door. The door being open or closed doesn't make any difference - reach towards it and notice how you feel in your physical body.

This is an important test and you can use it when you go outdoors to try it someplace there but for starters try it around the house. If you want to - go outdoors but make sure that if you are reaching towards something with the back of your left hand that it is definitely a safe thing to do.

I don't want you to take a chance towards something - meaning going towards something that is not safe. So practice in the house or in a building that you know is safe to practice in and then go outdoors and practice on a space that you know is safe for you and you will be able to note that that reaction in your body is exactly that that you felt towards the safe space in your house.

Give it a try. I'll say more about this in further talks about instinct which is something we can all use and will help us to feel safer. I know it, I believe it, I use it and I've been trained in it.

Goodlife to you all and goodnight.

Dreams In A World Of Compassion

Have you been having any intense dreams lately - ones with feelings that are so intense that you wake up with your heart pounding?

I have these dreams sometimes also. They are not meant to frighten us, though that's the way we remember them.

In my experience these are teaching dreams - someone is teaching us and we are learning.

In our life here we experience ourselves as individuals. We don't, as a rule, feel other people's feelings. Oh we have these experiences to a degree if there is an intense feeling in one place stimulated by something - perhaps we are in a theatre and we are swayed by the drama going on on stage or in the movies or other people around us are reacting to something and we might get caught up in it as well.

But what's going on in these intense dreams is what I believe to be training. So much of what we need to develop these days is compassion. We don't have to experience and live other people's lives directly, of course not but we do need to have a sense of feeling - not necessarily empathy where we take on the feelings of others but a sense of true compassion where we can sympathize to the best of our ability with others and offer perhaps a sense of pathos or at the very least a sense of consideration and kindness towards those who are having a hard time.

Nothing may really be required of us other then that feeling and perhaps that consideration or kindness. We don't have to give away everything we have but that kind of consideration, that kind of kindness is often appreciated.

Sometimes the people who we are kind to don't demonstrate their appreciation, other times that appreciation is demonstrated only in subtle ways but if enough people do offer kindness - in time those who are suffering grasp that the world and those around them do have a sense of compassion towards them and this - for those who are suffering in those moments can be very comforting indeed.

I believe, in these dreams, we are learning what other people are feeling by temporarily feeling it ourselves. I do not believe however that the place where dreams exists is an actual place where human beings live. I feel it is a teaching theatre where our guides and teachers allow us to experience these feelings because we may be exposed to others who have them and we may therefore be called on to be compassionate.

I grant that there are other points of view about dreams and I do not claim to have all the answers but this is what I believe based on my experience.

Goodlife to you all and goodnight.
