Last time I mentioned about the use of physical feeling and the use of touch with your toes and feet. This last portion I wish to say only the following.
Over these next 20 years everyone on Earth - every human being - will be waking up and one of the things you will have as long as you can help in that process is that you will have on the Earth still, many animals. Not just your dogs and cats and pets but you will have many animals who live on the Earth on their own - be they the tiniest who walk about on many legs or be they the winged who fly overhead or be they the gilled who swim in the sea or in the lakes.
Please try and make sure that many of them are still with you over the next 20 years because the more you begin to use your feeling body walking about with your other fingers we call toes and touching and paying attention to what you touch - how does it feel, that's why babies get such delight in that and adults are taught to do things other ways in our times - but as you use your extra fingers (your toes) and pay attention to how it feels to walk and what your foot is touching (your extra hands) so you will become more conscious of the capacity to feel and know what is being touched.
You will become more intimate with the Earth so that it is not just a place to put structures but it is something that supports you and you will become more conscious of being a portion of something larger than you. Not just as a thought or philosophy as a part of some greater organism in your mind or some greater body of belief also in your mind and perhaps your heart but as a physical being you will be surrounded with other life forms who are also being supported by the Earth and you will see them. You will carefully avoid them when you are walking so they have their world as they avoid you when you are walking.
When you put your other fingers down and touch the Earth then you will be much more conscious of being a portion of Earth. Many of you know these things but I'm putting it into the context of waking up so that you will have something you can do to move through these times in a way that will be more welcoming and more comfortable.
We are born here on Earth in the way we are born. We are not born with shoes - thank heavens eh mother - and we are born thus very sensitive. Anyone who raises a baby knows how very sensitive they are to touch and how gentle you must be with them and how excited they are to touch things when they are able and how happy they are to move about on their own as best they can when they are young and crawl and touch and taste as babies do - with parents being careful or brothers and sisters watching over them. This contact that babies make is intended for adults as well.
We can wake up remembering all our skills and abilities through touch because the constant of touch will support our mind so our mind doesn't have to be the only vehicle by which we make the connection to who we are. We can make that connection with our hands and fingers, with our toes and feet for those portions of our body on our legs - our extra hands, our extra fingers are meant to keep us in contact with the Earth so that we might remember who we are through touch as well as through thought.
Goodlife and good remembering.

Continuing Illumination On Instinct
I have spoken a great deal on instinct and you will find some of that teaching here, then here, followed by this and then this and also this.
I am concerned however that there still may be a misconception about instinct. The assumption is that it has a quality of mystery to it but in fact there is no great mystery.
Instinct is about touch - your body touching the surroundings. Now I grant that you may not consider the atmosphere or the air in front of you something that you touch although in theory you can understand where it might be considered touching as you move through the air around you but there is more there than air.
There is also feelings - meaning that which is contacting your feelings as well as the radiated feelings of all other beings and by all other beings I do not mean only human beings - I also mean plants, animals and Mother Earth herself to say nothing of the broadcast energy of Creator, Angels and so on.
Instinct is not mysterious at all. It is our reaction to those feelings. Do you know, you don't have to try to figure it out. It's not meant to be figured out, it's just meant to be felt.
At this time of year many of us are experiencing winter where we have to have lots of clothes bundled on us but it's coming on towards spring isn't it and it will be possible to, at the very least, remove gloves.
Now, I want you to try something when you are able to have your hands exposed to the outdoors. If you are not sure what instinct feels like then you can try this - and you can even do it indoors if you want to.
Use the back of your hand - that is the best way to start with this and reach towards a given area - meaning for example - test it - yah?
Try reaching towards a room or a space that you know is not a good place for you to go into. There may be a reason. By the way you don't have to open the door for instance if it is a closed room, just stand outside well away from it and reach your hand towards that door.
There might be any number of good reasons why it's not good for you to go in there but the test that you're doing here is not to see what's behind the door but rather to see how your body reacts as you reach towards it with the back of your left hand.
Take note what feelings you have in your physical body. Then go to another room, since I am applying this to indoors, and if that room is perfectly safe to enter and you know that it is then reach towards that with the back of your hand again standing well away from the door. The door being open or closed doesn't make any difference - reach towards it and notice how you feel in your physical body.
This is an important test and you can use it when you go outdoors to try it someplace there but for starters try it around the house. If you want to - go outdoors but make sure that if you are reaching towards something with the back of your left hand that it is definitely a safe thing to do.
I don't want you to take a chance towards something - meaning going towards something that is not safe. So practice in the house or in a building that you know is safe to practice in and then go outdoors and practice on a space that you know is safe for you and you will be able to note that that reaction in your body is exactly that that you felt towards the safe space in your house.
Give it a try. I'll say more about this in further talks about instinct which is something we can all use and will help us to feel safer. I know it, I believe it, I use it and I've been trained in it.
Goodlife to you all and goodnight.

Feeling Spaces, Part 2
Last time I spoke about Feeling Spaces. This time I want to suggest that you do the exact same homework except I want you to feel the space from your solar plexus.
In that sense - run a extension of yourself - meaning feel, not with your solar plexus but run something out from your solar plexus. Here's what I mean by that. Sit down for a moment and look at the ceiling wherever you live and relax, put your hands at you sides and while you are looking see if you can feel anyplace on the ceiling with your solar plexus.
This amounts to reaching out from your solar plexus to touch something - you see. Now you're not going to be able to make the same kind of physical contact that you would - say touching something with your hand or foot but you might after you try this a few times feel some kind of sensation - okay.
Next you do the homework you did last time. Run that extension out from your solar plexus and notice the direction that you're walking in - does it feel good - then walk a little bit that way. If at any moment it feels uncomfortable, stop and turn slowly - I recommend turning to your left in a counterclockwise fashion until you feel a direction that feels good - then move in that direction.
Now you can see that this is homework designed to help you to become aware of your surroundings on a feeling level. It's very easy - and many of us have been conditioned - to talk ourselves out of our feelings. Very often feelings are referred to as emotions but emotion is a mental word that describes something vague and not particularly palpable.
On the other hand feeling, meaning a physical feeling, is crystal clear to us all. We have all touched things and we have all had physical feelings in our bodies. So it is up to us these days to learn how to use our feelings so that we can move or travel, you understand, in the best direction for us wherever we may be going and arrive by whatever route we take in the safest possible way.
The purpose of Mystical Man is to teach you how to get wherever you're going in the safest possible way. It may not always be about physical travel but ultimately it is about travel whether that travel be growth of the mind, body or spirit or whether it be about feelings or instinct - this is all part of your training.
Goodlife.

Feeling Spaces
Sometimes when we are in the world we see things that are there yes but other times we cannot see no matter how good our vision is because we need to feel. Sometimes we can feel things that are there that cannot be seen. Today I'm going to talk to you a little bit about that.
You all know what it's like to get a bad feeling about something. Sometimes you think - it's a thought, something I was thinking about but other times you're quite well aware that it's the environment you're in or perhaps it is some danger in the area.
Feeling Spaces is about knowing where to go - when.
Here's some homework. I'd like you to find a place - anyplace - it can be out on the land, it can be in your own home, it can be anyplace you like. Keep your eyes open, it's not a close your eyes thing but feel the space in front of you. Don't if you would - reach out with your palm forward. Reach out with your left arm and the back of your hand forward and touch the space.
Now what are you doing. You're not actually making physical contact that you can feel - what you're doing is checking to see how you feel in your body.
If you feel calm and comfortable walk ahead but as you're walking you don't have to hold your arm out in front of you. Walk ahead a step or two, then stop, then feel the space in front of you. What you're doing is - your body is reacting to the energy in the space that is in front of you.
As I say you can practice this out on the land somewhere, you can practice it in your own apartment or house but when you do, turn in different directions and if at any moment you get an uncomfortable feeling in your body then withdraw your arm and retreat until you find a space you can walk towards that feels comfortable or neutral.
I'm just introducing you to this subject today because it builds on other work I have exposed you to. I'd like you to get used to doing this with your arm at first because after a while you won't have to put your arm out. There's another way and we'll talk about that next time.
Goodlife.

Animals - They Can Point Us In The Right Direction
Have you ever had an experience with your cat or dog or even a cat or dog that you may know or are passing by - will they ever come up and very delicately touch you - sometimes with their nose, more often with their tail or some other part of their body - it is very delicate and it is not meant to be a more aggressive encounter.
There is something special going on here. Sometimes a animal that is a pet or even one that you are around a great deal will perform such a touch.
There is even the occurrence for those of you who are sensitive to it that this can even be a spirit animal - perhaps one that you have known or one that simply has a sense of affection for you may also make such a touch. It will be very light but it will definitely be physical.
What are these things about? Animals including animal spirits have an awareness of how very influential they are in our lives.
We often need help - I do, you do, we all do - and sometimes help from another human being, no matter how much we appreciate that, is not enough. Sometimes we say to the sky, the walls, our world or God, "Help, I need help" and sometimes it comes in this form.
Oh yes - it is wonderful to have a dog or a cat or other pet to be affectionate with, to have them be affectionate and loyal with you - oh yes. That can be very wonderful but I'm referring to these very special occasions when they touch you very lightly.
Very often what that means is that point of contact on your body would be good for you to touch. Take note of the next time it happens but only when they touch you very lightly and then back off or go on about their life.
Touch yourself in that same spot if you can. Perhaps it is a very small spot and a single finger will work - or two fingers but if it is a large spot then use your hand. I would recommend using your right hand but if you can't reach then try using your left hand.
Of course sometimes you won't be able to reach, so you will just have to wait for them to touch you again - but try putting your hand or finger on that spot and just see what happens. Sometimes it can be very calming, other times even more so - genuinely relaxing and even other times some feeling of discomfort you have might lessen to a degree or more.
This is another wonderful thing that animals, especially our pets, do for us and I wanted to share it with you.

Contacting Yourself With Approval
This blog is meant to share my personal experience and will occasionally have as you've noticed guest columns from friends whom I feel have something very worthwhile to say and that I feel that you may find interesting, valuable and enjoyable.
I will also use it at times to make suggestions and this is one of those days. Here's what I suggest. It is in the nature of life as I've discovered it over time that life often tends to repeat itself. We might reasonably wonder why because we might quite reasonably say, "I got it already" but you know there's a reason things sometimes repeat and that's that - yes - we might very well have gotten it but now our soul or greater being wants to see if we can apply it and how soon after we get it - that this is something we already got - how we're going to apply what we got this time.
I've had experiences like that too and I find that many's the time that I'll get it realize oh, it's this again, find it amusing at that moment whatever it is even if it's not a big laugh or anything to be smiling about - when I realize what it is then I apply what I've learned. It's amazing how quickly it gets resolved.
I believe you've had those moments too. When you do I'd like you to do something that I've been learning how to do that is not something most of us are trained to do in our culture and that's to give ourselves a little pat on the back. I'll actually do that physically. I feel that it's important because in our cultures we almost always learn everything there is to know about how to show disapproval but we don't often learn how to show approval or we don't learn it as well.
So give yourself a little pat on the back or if you can't reach your back to well for any reason stroke your arm. I've discovered that making strokes just going down gently are helpful or something like that is something that has worked for me.
That's all today. I just wanted to offer something that I've discovered and recommend that you try it. It's amazing the difference between saying, "Oh I did good" for instance and actually when you say it or something - whatever you like to say - to give yourself a little pat or stroke on the body. In my experience our physical body does not react well to the thought that we did good but rather reacts well to the touch. I'm sure this is because when we were very young those whom we loved or whom we wanted approval from touched us when we were being approved of or loved and our physical body knows and understands that this is loving approval. So, that's my big thought for today eh and I hope that you have a good experience with it.
Goodlife.
