A Path To Your True Natural Being

To be as a child is the way. What does this mean? In order to find your way to your natural self, your true identity, the way you can truly be in this life, you must be very similar to the way you were when you were born.

When you were born you were very trusting, you were open, accepting. You had not learned to be cynical. You had not learned that - this is true and that is false. In other words you were your natural self then.

All throughout our lives we are trained and conditioned to be this way or that way, to be this culture or that culture, to believe these rules, to disbelieve those and so on but in order to be our natural selves we will have to focus - at least for moments when you feel safe - as that innocent child.

I have some homework for you. It's not so rare or unusual but it's something you can do. I recommend you do it entirely on your own because it will be embarrassing at first for adults, less so for children.

Pretend to be a child. I recommend you do this in bed or someplace soft. A couch might do just fine and as an actor might, pretend to be a baby. You don't have to be a baby physically quite obviously but pretend to be that in your thoughts and allow your body to move into positions that feel comfortable for you though may not be positions you would normally take as an adult.

This is something that actors are very familiar with so if you have a friend that's an actor ask them for a little guidance. If they want to know what it's about tell them it's an exercise to get in touch with your true self. I think they'll understand. Many actors have to do that in order to pursue their careers.

I recommend you say this living prayer first. Ask, always before saying these things, for all the most benevolent energies to be around you and all about you. Wait a few seconds and then say, "I am asking that I have now the capacity and the ability when being my natural true self to touch into that trusting child that is me at my root of my being here on Earth and that uniting the two of these things I feel my true natural personality, my true natural soul and my total natural spirit." Then do that thing I said - alright. I recommend you try it.

For those of you who've had trouble accomplishing some of the homework on this blog and on my other then you will find that the homework, after doing this exercise a few times or maybe even just once, will be easier to accomplish. Goodlife.

More On Why We Are Here On Earth, Part 2

The two reasons of why we are here are physical feelings to show us that there is an impact on others of what we may think and that there is a reason for us to so thoroughly know something that we do not experience when we are in spirit.

When we are in spirit we do experience a feeling but since the feeling is a combination if you can imagine - a synthesis of calm, happiness, love, yes cheerfulness - it is a constant. We always feel that so that there is a notion in spirit that there is no feelings. There is a feeling, it's just a constant so one does not consider the variation of feeling that we experience here on Earth.

I believe that the other reason why we are here on Earth is because this is a school, as I've said many times, not only to learn what we are learning here but I believe it is a school so that when we have learned this thoroughly that we will be able to teach others who will be coming into a broader range of feeling.

Ultimately physical feeling is something that prompts us to grow. Something might be slightly uncomfortable to somebody eh. Not something painful - oh a draft at the back of your neck, you turn around, you close the window. You forgot you left it open just a crack so there would be some air that came in during the day eh for example, and at night there is a breeze blowing at the back of your neck and you forgot. You get up, close the window - that's that. That kind of a minor annoyance eh - but an annoyance prompted by a feeling to remind you that there is something that needs to be done and then all is well.

I believe that that level of feeling will be incorporated in a much greater portion of the universe so that people can grow. There are people other places, other planets of course but they will need teachers to help them.

Think about it for a moment. If there are people in other parts of the universe who have this constant feeling that I referred to but because it's so constant and so wonderful they are not aware really of feelings the way we are aware of them here then they will need guides. They will need teachers to help them through even the most minor discomfort.

Why would Creator include them even in this level of minor discomfort? I believe that the point is that as wonderful as life is in other parts of the universe that there is no growth as we understand it here - meaning growth and change, adaptation, application, solution - like that.

We have learned that here, we learn it in the most minor ways when we are very young. We learn to tie our shoelaces so we don't trip over them eh? We might have a trip and fall when we are very young and don't really remember that anymore now that we're grown up but then we learn that we may be presented with things that we like but they have perhaps appendages like shoelaces eh and that if we don't tie them well we might trip over them and if we trip over them when we're very young maybe we'll be alright especially because grandmother and grandfather or mom or dad or brother and sister are watching over us and there aren't sharp things to fall on or edges or the rug is soft or they catch us when we're taking our first steps.

We learn in time to tie our shoelaces not because the authority tells us - tie your shoelaces - but rather mom or dad or brother or sister or grandma or grandpa or uncle or aunty explain to us that when our shoelaces are tied we won't trip over them and the shoes will stay on our feet and they'll keep our feet warm and safe.

I picked this simple example because it's something that almost all of us have gone through. We will be able to help others on other planets as we choose to travel there in other lives or perhaps as guides or teachers ourselves or perhaps visitors to help people in other places to learn simple things about minor discomfort so that they might grow.

They're not going to have the drama and the conflict and the struggle that we've had here. We know that discomfort is not meant to get out of hand. We've seen the results of that.

So we will bring that wisdom with us as well but we will just be there to help, to act and to react when necessary in the gentlest and most nurturing way because we have learned here on this planet that that is the way that helps, that is the way that guides and that is the way that is received in the best possible way especially by those who are tender and vulnerable as we know in the case of children and other people who've been living in benevolence on other planets.

While they are very wise in their own way, when it comes to feelings they may very well be very much like children and need our guidance and wisdom that we can offer benevolently. Goodlife to you all.

More On Why We Are Here On Earth, Part 1

It's clear to me that there are those who do not understand that feelings come before thoughts. I'm not talking about the chicken and the egg here (which came first). What I'm talking about - is the sort of feelings I'm referring to in these blogs - are those that are prompted by our physical body along the lines of instinct so that we know what is for us in that moment as compared to what might be prompted by a thought that we're having and then our body produces a feeling in order that we would understand how such a thought or experience or worry or remembrance of something uncomfortable or remembrance of something comfortable - in short our body shows us a feeling physically so that we will know whether such an experience either remembered or thought would be good for us or not.

Our body is constantly training us and I believe our reason to be here on this planet - how many times have you asked yourself, "Why am I here" is so that we would learn that.

If you look at life it is very complex, truly a tapestry but one feature stands out in terms of what we may be here to learn and that's that feelings exist as an indicator - a clue if you would - and in my mind and in my heart I believe is entirely about training so we will know and understand completely what thoughts would prompt in terms of how our body might feel.

Also there are complexities aren't there. I believe that on other planets - not everywhere but on other planets and perhaps other states of being we have thoughts without feelings at all (see part 2) and we don't realize that these thoughts affect others. I believe that we are insulated on this planet not only to protect us from things happening in other dimensions and on other planets so we wont be confused about life here since we don't remember who we are here for the most part but that others on other planets and in other dimensions are insulated from us - again since we don't remember and do not feel benevolent all the time simply because of the complexities and yes the slings and arrows of life here.

I believe we are here to learn that not only do our thoughts and discussions with each other have an impact beyond our immediate environment and even beyond our world - which is why the insulation is there, sometimes called a veil or a barrier - but also so that we can learn so well what feelings are being prompted by our thoughts that we will be able to differentiate between more than one.

I've given a lot of training on feelings here - not because I'm trying to convince you that I'm "right" but rather that I'm trying to help to show you that feelings, when incorporated and understood to be a portion of instinct, can help us to lead lives that are safer and more benevolent. A great deal of training I've given either here or in other places such as the book Explorer Race Techniques for Generating Safety has been prompted in me to produce only a curiosity on your part. This is true thus what follows is also what I believe.

So - I know that people can produce feelings with thoughts but those are not the feelings I'm attempting to help you to use. That's why all the training about the heart heat or instinct as you might find here for example and also here.

I know most of you understand this by now or you would not be reading this and hopefully applying some of the homework and discovering these things for yourself but I am still surprised when people do not understand what I believe to be the basic thread that connects the tapestry here and that is that we are here to develop in our lives - or perhaps just after life when we get a chance to examine our physical life with our guides and teachers or at the deep dream level yes when our guides and teachers are with us - an understanding that allows us to completely realize that our feelings, physical feelings okay, are our guide.

It's really like the lesson book and our physical body is the teacher. I know most of you understand this by now and that's why you come here to read these things or consider them and I appreciate that and I hope it brings comfort in your life.

This more personal note is prompted because of a couple of things good friends and family mentioned in an offhand manner that caused me to believe that the attachment to thought being the ultimate is something that - while popular in our time - is something as I say that I feel is a false path.

Thought can do many good things. It can help us to mentally understand many things. It can help us to consider concepts and ways of being. Thought is very helpful indeed which is why I'm putting out all these words on all these blogs yes but also many of the words in these blogs are to remind us that the path of who we are, and answers at least part of the question - why we're here, is feelings. More On Clarity, Part 2

Now last time I talked about knowing the difference between listening to your heart and listening to your fears - which also stimulate feelings.

So a simple thing to do, not necessarily fun. Okay? So...fair warning. Do this in a way and at a time when you are all alone and safe in your home and that will be helpful.

First off, go to that link I put at the beginning of this post and practice that. Get good at it so that you can feel that warmth. That warmth is love. It also creates a broadcast feeling* around you that will radiate all around you, and up to 6 or even 7 feet away from you since it is a personal feeling, a safety zone so that other people if they're sitting next to you are less likely to feel unsafe and certainly less likely to feel as if you represented danger to them. And of course in modern society this is something for which we all become wary at times isn't it - for our personal safety.

So practice that so that you are good at it because you will need to, when you practice the other, be able to not only stop practicing the other for a moment but also be able to ease into something that will be of comfort - alright?

Now for those of you who are actors or performers this will be easy but for those of you who have not done any acting consciously, though you probably have done it unconsciously, or not really something that you thought about in your day to day life just to survive then this is something to bring to your attention.

Now I don't want you to think about something that is too personal but rather pay attention to the news or something you've heard about and for a moment alright, get into a fear of that - not of it happening to you.

Try to see and place yourself in a position of a person who, for example saw the flood waters rising and in the case of something like that it's not as if you are in any great power or control - you understand? There's a limit to what you can do. If you have a boat then you get yourself and your friends and family into the boat and off you go but even so you might leave some things behind that you would have preferred to have remained dry and safe.

So something like that that involves an aspect of Mother Earth for which you have no control and focus on that for a moment.

It will bring up a fear for you but it will not be personalized. You see I don't want you to be acting for a moment - performing, being if you would - a fear of someone or something near you because this is something that can leave residuals in your body.

Now if you do this with fear of flood, or if you have flood all the time and you're used to dealing with it than it can be fear of drought - something that has to do with Mother Earth, focus on that for a moment.

When you feel the physical changes in your'll get tense here or there, you might get annoyed, your mind might start to race so as to try to avoid the physical feeling you have. For some of you this could happen but don't pay so much attention to your thoughts. So then after you have focused on that for just long enough to have physical feelings come up in your body stop focusing on that but focus only on where and what - meaning where in your body you feel a discomfort - a tightening, a sense of urgency and what that feeling feels like.

Of course the more you focus on the physical feeling and not on the fear, that feeling will disappear with some rapidity so you will have to be quick on your feeling feet so to speak.

Now don't do this aspect of the exercise more than twice. I recommend to try and just do it once so that you have an idea of what fear feels like in your body - alright - and of course as you have already practiced the heart warmth which is about love for yourself and tends to radiate into love and support for yourself, and others who may be in your immediate environment so as to put them at ease - alright - because of the feeling of safety that they might have within your proximity, then you will notice the difference.

Now it might be a little unsettling as I said before so then start focusing on the Heart Warmth following the steps that I've laid out before or the means that you use to bring up that warmth in your heart and focus on that for a good 5 minutes. Don't glance at the clock, just make your best guess. If you happen to fall asleep while you're feeling that heart warmth that's fine.

Remember this is to be done someplace in your home or wherever you can be where you feel safe and where you can relax and where you will have the least amount of distraction.

Alright - now this is to bring to your attention and make it crystal clear the difference between listening to your heart and knowing the difference between your heart and the feelings of fear for example or other feelings associated with things that may come up, and often masked as psychology will tell us, from early parts of your life or even current parts that you don't know and don't understand too well. We all have to deal with these things.

Now in order to feel a little more at ease with the process of building on your heart feelings I will say more about these things in time but for now I just want to say - you now know the difference between listening to your heart and listening to your fears. That is my main point in these posts and it is mostly aimed towards those moments when you feel confused about what's what.

When you get good being able to bring up this heart warmth it will not only give your heart permission to come up with that warmth more often but it will also support and sustain your life in other ways.

I believe that one of the reasons people like to be around babies, aside from the fact that you love them if they're your own, is because babies often have this energy when they're born especially if they are born in a gentle way - maybe not so gentle for mother but gentle for baby. Sometimes this can be done, other times it's done in a more modern way. Nevertheless, if baby feels relatively safe and secure they will have this wonderful warmth radiated heart feeling all around and about them.

The reason I bring this up is because when I speak to you about the heart warmth it is not so much something that you have to learn with no knowledge of it - you had this at one time.

We were all babies inside mother once and we all came out and initially had that feeling so my job is to remind you of the feeling and to help to co-ordinate you to that feeling so that you can nurture yourself, you can remind yourself why you came here not only to work on something that may have been missing in your physical knowledge of life on Earth but also to discover and to reacquaint yourself with aspects of Earth life that you may have missed and had grown fond of finding again.

More On Clarity, Part 1

You will hear many times this year, "Listen to your heart." You might hear it here, you might hear it there but you will hear it or read it or someone will say it or you will overhear someone saying something like that to another.

For some of you it will make complete sense because you know how to do this. For others it will be a challenge because it's maddening - meaning that of course you can listen to your heart beat: thump thump, thump thump yeah - but that's not what it means and most of you who are reading this know that of course.

What it means is pay attention to your heart and understand its broadcast feelings. What do I mean by broadcast feelings?

Broadcast feelings on a personal level mean that that which you physical feel in your body in and around your heart - and sometimes radiating to other parts of your body but originating with your heart since you feel it there also - broadcast feelings on a personal level mean that's what your heart knows is best for you and since your heart is the center of your being - that's right, not your brain even though science does have a tendency to want to suggest that, your heart is the center of your being - then this is a good guide and teacher to follow.

How to know that you are following your heart. How to know that your heart can help you this way. I have on many occasions in my blogs spoken of these matters. How to connect with your heart warmth and so on but I want to bring up an aspect that is a bit challenging for many of you - how to know that you are listening to your heart or listening to your fears.

I'll talk more about that next time but listening to your fears is what people confuse with paying attention to your feelings.

A great many people have found in the past and have written about extensively something they call feelings which has come to be known as emotions and how it's not good to pay attention to those but really what they're talking about is listening and responding to your fears and I agree that many times, not always - many times when you act on your fears alone which does produce a feeling in your body of course you will consciously or unconsciously act out in some ways that may be self destructive - meaning harmful to you or harmful to others - and by listening to your heart as I say and getting in touch with your heart warmth this is not the same thing.

I want to draw that delineation for those of you who are either new to these blogs or are a little unsure about the differentiation between listening to your heart and listening to your fears. I'll say more about this next time. Goodlife.
